Metroball DC 10th Grade Team
Congratulations to 3 of the Metroball DC’s AAU teams for their great play in the Potomac Valley Spring League. The 8th Grade, 9th Grade, and 10th Grade boys teams made it to the championship games after a hard fought season of league play against some of the DC area’s best teams. The 10th grade team only lost one game all spring at Potomac Valley while the 8th and 9th grade teams struggled early on but finished strong late in the season to earn a spot in the Championship.
Even though the only victory in the championship came from the 10th grade team, all 3 teams played very hard and represented well. As an organization, this marked the first time that Metroball has had 3 teams finish so strong in league play. Look out for these teams and the newly formed Metroball DC 10th grade girl’s team as they play throughout the summer season.
